See…I’m of the opinion that Edward doesn’t really prefer brunettes as Bella is actually a blonde. She’s just so full of shite that it’s colouring her hair.

Since the supernatural is cool, wanna come dress up as a Zombie? Making a little video in the style of the opening of Repo!

Oh Twilight. I almost feel silly for enjoying it now that it’s a huge deal, since the movies came out. I read them sooooo long ago, when they were pretty new and I loved them. Now it feels a bit… like I jumped on the band wagon when I talk about and people go “Oh great another Twilight fan…” So sad.

I loved that, I’m a brunette so naturally… tee hee.

Oh, and RE horrific murders – you’re allowed to be, you wrote them; shows skill to write a murder that’s a little iffy. Being excited about your horrific murders is perfectly justifiable!

I’m yet to read the Southern Vampires series, I just know it does well – obviously. But pfft. Paranormal in general is doing well, including vamps. If the story is good, I don’t think they should ignore it just because it has vampires in. Plus, vampires are awesome anyhow!

@Jo: They’re currently in overload at the moment, it seems. Which is interesting, as angels and zombies etc. are climbing up while vampires are decreasing.

My only hope is that mine may be YA, but it isn’t about vampires in high school. In fact, no one is in high school. It’s more like Sookie Stackhouse I guess, except with a vampire hotel and no weres etc. But still plenty of horrific murders!

I really shouldn’t be this excited about horrific murders in my novels.

Oh bloody agents! We have the Twilight Saga, L. J. Smith’s novels, Ellen Schreiber’s, Southern Vampires series, Night Huntress series that all seem to be doing pretty well… what more evidence do they want that vampires are IN right now?! Agents need to open their eyes! And your book sounds awesome!

I wish it would be published too, but sadly agents etc. aren’t really keen on vampire fiction – however much the readers want it. So it’s sitting there being edited while the world keeps growing and growing. It’s nowhere near as complex as HP, but now I have a tiny taste of what it must be like to be JKR. Tiny tiny tiny taste.

Which is why I’m getting a nice moleskine and making “The BB Book” as my friends and I are terming it. I need to keep track of all the characters that keep popping up!

That’s such an interesting post! I wish your books were published already – the finished ones anyhow. I am so intrigued as to what goes on in those pages!
