I just realised that it has been almost two months since my last post. And that that last post was basically a funny picture with a comment.

And that that funny picture with a comment was my first post on this blog in almost two months.

1) Oops. 2) I think I am sensing a theme here.

So I am trying to rectify this somewhat. Maybe. I have a cold so my head is a little bit gunked up so I don’t always make a lot of sense. I’m actually ill in a lot of ways which just really really sucks at the moment.

So what have I been doing lately, besides being ill? Well, not much other than a lot of reading and a bit of writing.

Reading

I have a Kobo ereader which is really awesome. I was a little iffy about the whole ereader thing (“I want a real book!”) but now I have changed my tune.

Currently Reading: I’m currently reading The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff. Changelings and the like, which is cool.

About To Read:
Courtney Crumrin and the Coven of Mystics by Ted Naifeh. I enjoyed the first graphic novel and so am looking forward to the next. Really into graphic novels at the moment.

Last Read: Bleeding Violet by Dia Reeves. Can’t really explain this book, but it’s definitely wow-worthy.

Writing

To be honest I haven’t been writing that much. I have been working on rewrites for Lionheart though, which is something.

I was working on something that was to be a short story but about 5000 words in I made the decision that it just wasn’t gonna fit under the 6000 word limit that was imposed. After a bit of thought I’ve kinda decided to turn it into a novella of about 20 000 words, but what I’ll do after that I don’t know yet. Someone suggested I self-pub it or something, but I don’t know. Do you think people would be interested in reading a novella about a biracial lesbian vampire hunter making her first kill? Heh.

On the upside, writing buddy and I are working on something special.

 
As you can see, cold is all in my head and I am rambling but at least there is something now on this blog again.
